🐸 $PEPE in 5 Numbers

PEPE.

No not the hot-headed defender from Real Madrid who use to legally murder opposition attackers. 👨🏼‍🦲

I’m talking about the latest memecoin on the block – $PEPE. 🐸

PEPE is now a top-100 crypto

TLDR on PEPE:

  • Deployed on April 18

  • Ranked #80-90 among top coins

  • Reached a market cap of $500 million

That’s a faster rally than Lightning McQueen 🏎️!

But that’s not all. PEPE is making BIG moves in the memecoin and larger crypto market.

Here are only 5️⃣ numbers you need to know about PEPE!

⬇️

This dude holds PEPE worth $3.7 million. In just the past 24 hours, the dude made close to $1.5 million because PEPE pumped by 60%. 🤣

And I thought if I go to college, get a decent job, I’ll make money. 😢

But hold on ✋, this ☝️ is not liquid money, as we explained here.

100 – the Google Search Trend for “pepecoin.”

During the peak of the PEPE mania in the middle of 🗓️ April, the terms:

  • pepe

  • pepecoin,” and

  • pepe crypto

Were searched more than “Why is the doodhwala so lame?” 😢

🥛 Doodh FACT: Google search trends range from a scale of 1-100, with 100 being v v popular. The term “pepecoin” went from 3 to 100 in less than 1 week. 🤣

That’s more PEPE traded than:

🧐 Shardeum, what’s that!?

Shardeum.

No, that’s not the name of a crypto-punk rock bank with hits like:

🎶 HODL or Die
🎶 Death to Fiat
🎶 Blockchain Rebels
🎶 Altcoin Apocalypse
🎶 Smart Contract Killers

But seriously, Shardeum is an EVM-compatible, L1 blockchain that’s meant to achieve scalability through sharding.

We don’t know wtf that means. After all, we just humble doodhwalas. 🥛

But we know someone who does!

These are the doodhs behind Shardeum. 😲

🇷🇺 986 Bitcoin wallets exposed

Ever heard of OP_RETURN? No, it’s not a complicated Java Script function ya’ll learnt back in college. 😢

It's a BITCOIN thing! 😉

And some anonymous hacker just used it to blow the whistle on 986 Bitcoin wallets linked to the Russian government. 🇷🇺

But, wtf is OP_RETURN?

OP_RETURN is like a little note you can attach to a Bitcoin transaction.

Just like writing a message on a postcard, you can write a short message on a Bitcoin transaction, and it stays there forever for everyone to see.

But remember, you can't spend or use Bitcoins in this special transaction.

It's just for sending messages! 📝💬

🗓️ Between February 12 – March 14, 2022: A mysterious user used OP_RETURN to call out 986 Bitcoin addresses allegedly belonging to Russian security agencies. 🕵️

🔍 The Messages

The hacker sent thousands of transactions to these addresses with messages like:

  • "GRU to SVR. Used for hacking!"

  • "GRU to GRU. Used for hacking!"

  • "GRU to FSB. Used for hacking!"

  • "Help Ukraine with money from the GRU Khakir"

See👇

Source: Chainalysis

These messages point to Russian agencies like the

  • Foreign Military Intelligence Agency (GRU)

  • Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR)

  • Federal Security Service (FSB)

    😱

💸 Sacrificing Bitcoin for the Cause

Using OP_RETURN 🔥 burns any Bitcoin in the transaction, making it inaccessible.

This hacker burned over 10 BTC worth over $300,000 just to spread their message, showing commitment to the cause.

And they even started sending funds to Ukrainian AID addresses after the Russian invasion began.

Yeah, Putin doesn’t like this. 😟

BUT!

The big question is –

How do these hackers take their doodh?

Are these claims legit?

Some evidence supports this claim:

At least 3 of the accused addresses have been previously linked to Russian hacking activity.

  • 2 addresses are connected to the SolarWinds hack

  • Another address was linked to leasing the server used for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election disinformation campaign.

The fact that the OP_RETURN messages were accurate for these 3 addresses lends credibility to the claims against the others.

Doodhwala’s Take:

Bitcoin's public, permanent, and immutable ledger isn't just for transparent financial systems. 🤷‍♂️

It's becoming a tool in cyber warfare. 😭

The OP_RETURN hacker's actions show the potential of blockchain technology in military and intelligence operations.

And these messages? ✉️

They'll be on the blockchain forever (as doodh will be in our hearts forever).🥛

🧀 Cheese and Charts: Which chain loves memecoins?

Meme coins, of course, they’re trending! 📈

Well, why wouldn’t they? Who doesn’t want to make 💰💰💰 ape-ing into investments that have high risk-rewards? 🚀

Here’s the biggest problem – there’s no real due diligence being done by investors who jump into these trades. 👎

4 main problems with investing into Memecoins:

  • Hard to predict movements 📊

  • Very few tools for Due diligence 🔭

  • No $DOODH🥛 token yet SMH 😤

But where are most of the meme coins deployed?

Our first guess is – DoodhChain Max, the only blockchain just made for animal-related meme coins.

But seriously, here’s the spread:

Ethereum → 58%

🟡 Binance Smart Chain → 20%

🔵 Arbitrum → 15%
